Mechanical Properties of Membrane Material
Mechanical properties of membrane materials are very different from other uniform material such as steel, three characteristics must be considered for design and engineering of membrane material
1) Non-Linear Elongation Property (Stress-strain curve is not linear)
2) Anisotropic Property (Mechanical property differs in direction)
3) Biaxial Property (Tensile modulus and elongation differs in warp and fill direction )
